Lazio shotstopper Luis Maximiano could very well see his way out of the club following interest from Spain. The Sporting CP youth product has failed to nick Ivan Provedel off his throne between the posts, as Maurizio Sarri preferred the Italian to man the backline.
As per latest reports from Il Messaggero (via Mundo Deportivo ), La Liga outfit Almeria have emerged as a strong suitor after submitting a first offer for Maximiano. €9M has been tabled by the Indalicos for 24-year-old’s services.

The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, are in a race with Inter to sign Emil Audero from recently relegated Sampdoria, and the transfer of Maximiano will only be executed when Audero steps in. Audero, the Juventus academy product, is yet to give his say.
Almeria expect a reply soon, as they themselves are in the midst of a squad overhaul, urgently needing a keeper to arrive between the posts.
Maximiano suffered a disastrous debut for Lazio after receiving a red card only six minutes into his first appearance for the club in a 2-1 win v Bologna, as he handled the ball outside the box.
